Welcome to your lesson! You will be greeted at Ropes Beach by 1-2 of our friendly instructors and begin with on-land instructions and question-answering for about 10-15 minutes.
You will start by getting a feel for the board on your stomach, before moving up to your knees, then standing, until you feel ready to up the speed and start foiling! An instructor will be guiding you along the way, either on their own board or next to you on our boat. You can always take a break on the boat yourself.
New riders are often surprised with how quickly they stand! We use our larger, more stable boards, often with an inflatable attached to make it extra safe and buoyant for the first lesson. Safety wise, our boards have shrouds over the propulsion for total peace of mind.
